- 1 to 2 teaspoons matcha powder
- 2 ounces warm water
- Ice
- 6 to 8 ounces milk or milk alternative
- Optional syrup, fruit, ube, vanilla, or cream top

Method
Four quiet steps.

Sift the matcha
Use 1 to 2 teaspoons of matcha powder. Sifting first helps the latte taste smooth instead of chalky.

Whisk with a small amount of water
Add a splash of warm water and whisk until the matcha looks glossy and fully dissolved.

Build over ice
Fill a cup with ice, add milk or your favorite milk alternative, then pour the matcha over the top.

Sweeten lightly
Add simple syrup, vanilla, strawberry, ube, or a cream top if you want a more café-style drink.
